Please be advised that in observance of Isra Mi’raj, all immigration offices in Bali will be closed on Friday, 16 January 2026.
Immigration services such as visa extensions, ITAS processing, and biometrics will not be available during this period. As the closure is followed by the weekend, operations will resume on Monday, 19 January 2026.
Reminder: We strongly recommend extending your visa in advance to avoid any last-minute delays, especially around public holidays when immigration services are temporarily unavailable.
What is Isra Mi’raj?
Isra Mi’raj is an Islamic holiday that commemorates the Prophet Muhammad’s journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascension to the heavens. It is a significant religious event in Indonesia and is marked as a national public holiday, during which many government offices — including immigration — are closed in observance.
