If you’re heading to Bali soon, make sure you have the “All Indonesia” Arrival Card sorted. This is a new digital platform that all travelers to Indonesia must complete before entering the country. The aim is to streamline the process of passing through immigration and customs, as well as the health declaration.

Read on to find out more about the All Indonesia Arrival Card, who needs to fill it out, how to submit it, and everything else you need to know about it.

What Is the “All Indonesia” Arrival Card?

Introduced by the Indonesian Government on September 1, 2025, All Indonesia is a unified digital portal that aims to streamline the immigration, customs, and health procedures for everyone entering Indonesia. With its introduction, travelers can avoid going through multiple separate processes of filling out the e-CD (customs declaration) and SATUSEHAT (health declaration).

Take note that this is not a replacement for a visa. You must fulfill the usual visa requirements upon entering Bali or any part of Indonesia.

Who Needs to Fill It Out

The All Indonesia Arrival Card is a requirement for everyone entering Indonesia from a foreign country. These include:

  • Foreign visitors – regardless of your visa status, whether you’re a resident of Bali or someone visiting the island for a holiday, business, or something else, you are required to fill out the All Indonesia Arrival Card. You can fill out the form within 3 days or 72 hours before you enter Bali or anywhere in Indonesia.
  • Indonesian citizens returning from abroad — Indonesians who have returned from a trip abroad must also fill out the arrival card, during which they are required to provide their NIK (Indonesian Identity Number).

In short, anyone entering Indonesia, whether a foreign individual or a local, and regardless of visa status, must fill out the All Indonesia Arrival Card to clear immigration.

When and How to Submit the Arrival Card

Travelers must complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card within 3 days (72 hours) before entering Indonesia. The process is done online and is very straightforward, taking only a few minutes.

Here’s a step-by-step guide for foreign visitors:

  1. First, access the official portal at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or download the All Indonesia mobile app on App Store or Google Play Store. The app is much easier to use, since you can simply scan your passport’s MRZ code for faster data entry. Using the app also makes it easier to keep your QR code handy on your phone. If you prefer the website option, double-check that you’re on the correct platform before you provide any of your information. Once you’re there, choose your preferred language, then click on “Foreign Visitor” for the visitor type.
  1. Next, you will be directed to a form where you will be asked to enter your personal details, including passport information, date of birth, and contact details. You will also be asked about your travel details, such as arrival and departure dates, visa information, or permit number, depending on your visa status. They will also ask about your flight or ship number and accommodation details in Indonesia.
  1. The All Indonesia Arrival Card also includes a health and customs declaration. In this section, you will be asked to declare if you have any symptoms. You will also be asked about your recent travel history. For customs, they will ask if you are bringing restricted items and if you have anything to declare.
  1. After you provide all the required information, submit the form, and you’ll be given a QR code. Save a copy of the code since they will scan this at immigration upon your arrival.

Important Things to Note

Here are some things to keep in mind to ensure a smooth and hassle-free entry into Bali:

  • The arrival card is mandatory – no one is exempt from the All Indonesia Arrival Card. Everyone is required to complete it before being allowed entry into Indonesia’s major entry points, including Bali, Jakarta, Surabaya, etc.
  • It is free of charge — there are no fees to pay when filling out the form online. That’s why it’s important to double-check that you are on the correct website before you fill out the form. If it’s asking for payment, then that is a scam.
  • Not a visa replacement — the All Indonesia Arrival Card is not a replacement for the visa or permit. You must still make sure you have the correct visa before entering Indonesia. When filling out the form, you will be asked for your visa information, so make sure you have this information ready.
