If your spouse holds a KITAS visa for Bali, you can apply for the E31B visa, which allows you to join your spouse on the island. This visa’s validity will be linked to your spouse’s KITAS. With the E31B visa, you can enter and exit Bali as often as you like, as long as your spouse’s KITAS remains valid. You must use this visa within 90 days from the date of issuance. Requirements
Passport validity
Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
Recent photograph
A recent color portrait photograph of you.
Personal bank statement
Min. USD $2,000 covering the last 3 months (name, date, and balance).
Marriage certificate
Marriage certificate translated to Indonesian (except if in English).
Spouse’s Visa
Valid Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) of the spouse.
Spouse’s Passport
A color scan of your spouse’s passport.
If you’re applying inside Indonesia you are required to submit your current visa (must still be valid for at least 30 days)

How long is the E31B Visa valid, and can it be extended?
The E31B Visa usually remains valid for the same period as your spouse’s KITAS. You are allowed to renew the visa at the same time as your spouse’s KITAS, as long as you fulfill the eligibility for renewal and provide the required documents before the visa expires.
