The remote worker visa (E33G) is the latest addition to the KITAS/ITAS visa category supporting Indonesia’s growing reputation as a hub for digital nomads and remote workers. This visa allows you to carry out assignments from your overseas employer for up to 1 year. There’s a lot of advantages being in the KITAS/ITAS category, eg. being able to open a local bank account, discounts at some public attractions and private businesses, access to local health insurance, faster airport lanes, travel freely in and out of Indonesia, bringing eligible family on a dependent visa and much more.

This visa allows you to:
- Travel freely in and out of Indonesia as long as your visa is valid.
- Carry out assignments from overseas company.
- Conduct activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
- Bring eligible family to live in Indonesia.
This visa doesn’t allow you to:
- Stay in Indonesia after your visa expires.
- Sell goods or services in Indonesia.
- Working for and receiving compensation/wages from Indonesian companies or individuals.
Requirements
Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
A recent color portrait photograph of you.
Upload your full curriculum vitae (CV).
Min. USD $2,000 covering the last 3 months (name, date, and balance).
Proof of annual income of an amount equivalent to 60,000 USD.
Employment contract with company established overseas.
If you’re applying inside Indonesia you are required to submit your current visa (must still be valid for at least 30 days)
