The Investor KITAP is exclusively for foreign nationals who have owned shares in an Indonesian company for at least four years. It's valid for five years and extendable for unlimited times.

This visa allows you to:

Live in Indonesia for five years with the option to extend.

Engage in investment activities for your company.

Conduct activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.

Bring eligible members of your family.

Travel to and from and live in Indonesia as long as your permit is valid.
This visa doesn’t allow you to:
- Stay in Indonesia after your visa expires.
- Engage in any work or job outside of the investment activities within the company you have invested in.
Requirements
From the applicant
Passport that is valid for at least 36 (thirtysix) months.
A recent color portrait photograph of you.
Proof of living in ID for min. 3 years and still valid for min. 3 months.
Your personal Indonesian tax ID / Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP).
PMA (Foreign Investment Company) company documents.
Your temporary residential registration (SKTT).
From the company (PMA)
The company deed of establishment and its amendments.
Evidence of share ownership (min. Rp15,000,000,000.00)
Approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (MoLHR).
The tax registration number (NPWP) of the company.
The OSS documents (NIB, Ijin Lokasi, Ijin Usaha) of the company.
A copy of the shareholders passport or Indonesian ID card (KTP).
The company letterhead and company stamp.

FAQ
Can I apply for a KITAP (Permanent Stay Permit) without having a KITAS (Limited Stay Permit)?
No. You must have had an Investor KITAS for at least four years before you qualify to apply for a KITAP. Additionally, you must be physically in Indonesia when you process the application.
Your current KITAS must be valid for at least three months when you submit your KITAP application.

Can a KITAP be canceled?
Yes, you can cancel your KITAP. You must apply for an Exit Stay Permit (EPO) or an Exit Re-Entry Permit (ERP). EPO allows you to exit Indonesia and not return, while ERP lets you leave and re-enter the country.
